About MISP Conference

About MISP Conference

The 4th International Conference on Machine Intelligence and Signal Processing (MISP2022) will be organized by National Institute of Technology, Raipur, India, during March 12-14, 2022 (In Virtual Mode). The Machine Intelligence is used to design and train machines with the help of advance computational techniques to exhibit some aspects of human intelligence. MI highlights the intersection of machine learning and artificial intelligence and may be used solve many complex real-life problems. While signal processing models and analyses almost all forms of data that can be digitized such as images, videos, audio and sensor data etc. MISP 2022 aims to bring the research fraternity together in the field of Machine Intelligence and Signal Processing to share their recent investigations and discuss the advances and future directions of these evolving areas. The conference will consist of talks by keynote speakers, followed by main conference sessions. The first conference of this series MISP2017 was organized by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indore, second MISP2019 was organized by Indian Institue of Information Technology (IIIT), Allahabad and third MISP2021 was organized by National Institute of Technology (NIT), Arunachal Pradesh, India. All accepted and presented papers of previous MISP conferences have been published in Springer book series such AISC and LNEE (Scopus Index). The proceedings of MISP2022 will also be submitted for publication in the Scopus indexed book series of Springer "Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering" (LNEE).

National Institute of Technology Raipur

National Institute of Technology Raipur (Formerly Government Engineering College Raipur) spared over an area of 100 acres and located in Raipur, the Capital City of Chhattisgarh State. Raipur city is well connected with Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Visakhapatnam, Nagpur & Bhubneshwar by regular flights and is on the main Howrah-Mumbai railway line route. The institute is 5 km from Raipur railway station and 14 km from airport on NH-6, the Great Eastern Road. NIT Raipur has proven to be "avant-grade' in the field of science and technology over past few decades in this region. With sweet memory of foundation ceremony by our president Hon'ble Dr. Rajendra Prasad on 14th September 1956. the institute started with two departments namely Metallurgical and Mining Engineering. Later the inauguration of the Institute building was done by our Prime Minister Hon'ble Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru on 14th March 1963. From 1st December 2005, the institute has become the National Institute of Technology.

Presently NIT Raipur offers 12 undergraduate, 11 Postgraduate (including M.C.A and M.Tech. in Applied Geology) and 18 Ph.D programs. The institute offers facilities for Ph.D. and also under takes R & D activities, provides testing, consultancy and other extension services including continuing education to the industry through the Industry Institute Interaction cell and the placement of the student through the Department of Training & Placement. The students have brought laurels to the institute and very well placed in Government organisation, Public and Private Sectors, Multinational Companies, Universities, research organisation in India and abroad.

About Raipur City

Raipur is the capital city of Chhattisgarh state in central India. The city is located centrally in the state of Chhattisgar. Raipur's economy has been based on agricultural-processing and saw-milling, and now serves as a regional hub for trade and commerce for a variety of local agricultural and forest products. In the center, the ancient Dudhadhari Math temple is a sacred monument dedicated to Lord Rama, decorated with scenes from the epic poem “Ramayana.” Nearby, a statue of the Hindu monk Swami Vivekananda towers over Vivekananda Sarovar lake. Southeast, Purkhouti Muktangan is an open-air museum featuring landscaped grounds, statues and tribal artifacts.

About Chhattisgarh State

Chhattisgarh is a heavily forested state known for its temples and waterfalls. Situated in the heart of India with a ten thousand years old civilization it is a land ‘Full of Surprises’ that attracts tourists who look forward to experience the pristine. Chhattisgarh is an uniquely Indian experience. Home to the country’s widest waterfalls, caves, lush green forests, ancient monuments, rare wildlife, exquisitely curved temples, Buddhist sites and hill plateaus. Chhattisgarh boasts of more than 80% of bio diversity that is not found anywhere across the country. For centuries its tribal communities have played a pivotal role in nurturing and protecting the natural habitat through eco-friendly practices. Chhattisgarh offers everything to a traveller - art and architecture, heritage, handicrafts, cuisine, fairs and festivals. Near the capital Raipur, the town of Sirpur on the Mahanadi River is home to the red-brick Lakshmana (Laxman) Temple, decorated with carvings from Indian mythology. Chhattisgarh figures in numerous tales that form part of the two great Indian epics, the Ramayana and the Mahabharata.
